PROJECT SUMMARY:
Utility Network Implementation for Recycled Water System
Long Beach Utilities (LBU)
Long Beach Utilities Department (LBU) migrated their recycled water system data to the ArcGIS Utility Network. A key driver for this project is that ArcMap is soon set to retire along with LBU’s current geometric network data format.

3D is an essential component of the Utility network; LBU had contour data which was used to provide elevation information. This effort resulted in a traceable 3D network that could be visualized in a scene. DCSE also created a drone model of a pumpstation and refined the utility network data to match the 3D model.
The data was configured with elements such as assemblies, containers, and subnetwork. Finally, the Utility Network was published to the ArcGIS Enterprise with branch versioning enabled on the cloud environment.
